It seems someone may have actually read and used me View from the Hill about de-fluffing the "tail light" on the M$ Optical Mouse. You know, the one which runs your laptop battery down. Look...

What's cool is that the hit was referred by the mighty Google :-).

OK. So I feel better.

I know there's been no updates for over a week. I've been away at a conference in Rhodes, Greece. Have a look at the pics here - http://pics.smashing.net/. I know it looks like we have been having a good time, but we did actually do some work too.

I also managed to fall in the sea while I was jet biking. I lost a pair of glasses in the drink, and I have to say, that it was one of the strangest experiences I have had in my life so far. One thing it did do was help to remove my fear of going underwater... can't have been all that bad... and I'm laughing about it now.

Went and bought a new pair of decent specs this morning... Guess ones, kinda nice. They will become my spares at some point, as I need to get some with the lighterweight lenses. The express opticians only had standard plastic lenses available, so I made do with what I could get. Need some new sunglasses too. Maybe even get a pair of prescription swimming goggles. Boy, I need to shed a few stone.

Oh, and I'm still single, in case you were wondering... no Holiday romance for me...
