So, I'm back home after another 2 week trip to the West Coast of the US.
Flying back from San Francisco, you usually fly North Easterly towards Winnipeg, then over Hudson Bay and Greenland.
This time I managed to get a seat on the correct side of the airplane (that's the left-hand side, the "A" seats, flying west), and got lucky enough to see the Aurorae Borealis.
While some people say it can be composed of many colours, last night's were mostly eerie greens and blues, and hung like drapes in the sky. Not all activity and flashing lights, but still way cool :-).
Ain't nature great?
